I have over 30 years of experience as a practicing plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I’ve had the privilege to work in very diverse settings and train with renowned plastic surgeons in Nicaragua, Mexico, Belgium, and the USA.

Working as a plastic surgeon during the war in Nicaragua in the late 1970s gave me the opportunity to develop great empathy for human suffering. In addition, my training as a family medicine physician helped me see how important it is to treat patients holistically to provide the best care.

In plastic surgery, I aim to improve my patients’ physical appearance by taking into account their natural beauty and needs. Each patient is unique. As my patient, you will get the best of me as a person and as a surgeon. After all, a patient’s glowing face when they see themselves in the mirror, is the biggest reward I look forward to when the procedure is done.
